Have you tried countless workouts that don’t seem to have any effect on you and your abs? You might want to rethink about those exercises that you have tried. Don’t you think you could have done those six pack abs workout wrong? Here is another fresh look on those exercises and how you are supposed to do them correctly.

First exercise that is very common to those who exercise there is doing crunches. The most important part in here is to follow proper positioning and movement of the body to also achieve the desired results.

This exercise is started by lying on your back. Body line should be maintained in a straight orientation. Your back should be comfortably rested on a mat or a flat floor. What you are lying on should at least be something soft, but not too soft, so that you can prevent unnecessary aches in your muscles and joints.

Your arms are then placed in front of your body or at the back of your head. Your arms are actually positioned so they will not impede with your movement. So, do not use your arms to help lift your body, especially not to lift your head if you are placing it as a support below your head. To avoid doing this, most people will recommend that you put your hands just beside your temples.

Your knees are then bent and spread out or remain closed. Depending on how comfortable you feel. The first thing that you are going to lift is your shoulder. Remember to lift your shoulders and not your head. Your abdominal muscles are the ones that should be used while performing this movement. And it should be maintained all throughout the routine.

Slowly exhale through your mouth as you also start lifting your shoulders off the floor. Maintain at the top of the crunch for at least a few seconds and exhale the remaining air in your lungs while you flex your abdomen. You can now lower your back and inhale through your nose. Lower your body until you feel your shoulders touch the floor but do not let your head reach the floor.

Another famous six pack abs workout that you need to do correctly to be able to achieve the expected results is a sit up. You will lie down on the floor, your knees are flexed and have another person support your legs and offer resistance. This can be the same as doing a crunch. However, you need to sit all the way up. Your back should be straight while you are at a flexed position against your knees. Do this repeatedly as many times as you can.

These two six pack abs workouts can be effective and produce the results they are designed to produce if you are going to do them correctly.
