Doing sit ups with side bends are also another way of doing exercise for your oblique muscles. You start by doing the normal sit ups, you may them progress to doing side bends. Do these while maintaining the same position and movement as in a real sit up. But you just have to twist your abs a little.

Make sure you have six pack abs exercises on even just one exercise to work on an area in your abdomen as you will not be able to achieve good looking abs if the workout is not complete.
